Due to the severe suffering of allergies of their owners children, it is unfortunate that Frankie and Beans find themselves needing to find a new home.  These two little lovebirds will need to be kept together as they are a very bonded pair.

Both Frankie and Beans are friendly dachshunds who love people and are always the happy recipients of plenty of cuddles and affection.

They happily walk well on the lead and enjoy meeting other small breeds but can be wary of large dogs.  Beans being the younger of the two tends to be the more anxious at time but gains his confidence from Frankie’s behaviour.  Thunderstorms and unexpected noises are scary for these two but they take comfort from having their owners nearby for reassurance.

In 2020 Beans had an episode of IVDD and was treated conservatively without the need for surgery.  He has not had any issues since.

Like most dachshunds Frankie and Beans will have the occasional accident inside the home but this is usually because the door has not been opened for them.
