Olly, a four year old dapple  is a lovely boy with a big personality. He is looking for a new home with a loving caring family who can take the time to get to know him and work with him to gain his confidence. Since having to spend a week at the vet he has lost his trust in humans and has at times shown some aggression. He is best suited to a home with no kids and no other pets and someone who is home most of the day to provide Olly with special care and give him back the confidence in humans that he has lost.

 

Prospective applicants should have a relatively good understanding of the breed.  Through no fault of his own, Olly needs to learn to trust humans again, so someone who is prepared to spend their time helping this little man feel safe and secure again, would be ideal. 

If you are prepared to persevere and be patient with his rehabilitation, then he might just be the dachshund you have been searching for.
