Sadly Deejay is looking for his new home as his owner is moving into aged care.

Deejay is a beautiful little boy with a very loving nature.  He is an affectionate dachshund who loves to be with his owner.

Deejay currently lives as an only dachshund and suffers from separation anxiety but he could go to a home where there is another friendly dog to keep him company.  Deejay enjoys visiting the family farm where there are 3 other dogs, horses and cows. He is used to grandchildren visiting but would be most suited to a home where there are older children and someone home majority of the day.

Deejay copes quite well with strangers but like most dachshunds he is a little hesitant at first but warms up once he knows they are not a threat.  He enjoys going on walks.

Deejay has got a few kilos to lose and will need to go to a home where his new owners will carefully monitor his diet and exercise.

Deejay is not suitable for flights.
