Meet Macy, a one-of-a-kind pup who radiates joy and warmth. Macy’s unique blend of energy and affection makes her a perfect fit for any loving home.

Macy loves being part of the family. You’ll find her warmly burrowed next to you, where she can participate in family life, play fetch, and chew on her squeaky toys.

Like many of her breed, Macy experiences separation anxiety. We strongly believe she would flourish in a home with a family who is well-versed in dachshunds, can invest time in her training, and provide a range of interactions to bolster her confidence. Macy loves her walks but, due to her anxiety, can be anxious around other dogs. While Macy is comfortable around children, we suggest those over 12 years old due to her anxiety. Macy does not like cats or small animals. An ideal match would be a family or retired couple who are mostly home or can take Macy on their adventures.
