They come with all the charming Dachshund traits that an experienced Dachshund owner knows to well. These two are a true team, bringing an immediate sense of family and fun to any household.

Although they’ve seen a few years, Lilly and Frankie remain highly active and vibrant. They still delight in their daily strolls, and a morning “sniffarie” is their favorite way to enrich their day. These lively walks provide stimulation and adventure for the pair, making them a fantastic way to bond with their new family. When not on the go, they’ll enjoy lounging in the backyard, soaking in the sun.

Lilly and Frankie are incredibly devoted to one another and would thrive in a quiet home with no little humans but older teenagers ok, allowing them space to express their entertaining personalities. While they might be a bit grumpy around younger children, their sweet nature shines around teenagers who can respect their boundaries. They are protective and may occasionally bark at unfamiliar faces, but this is simply their way of either safeguarding their family or seeking attention.

These clever canines have an undeniable love for food, and their intelligence means they’re quick to learn, especially when treats are involved. Their ideal family would be one where someone is home most of the day to keep them company and cater to their social nature. Lilly and Frankie prefer to be the only furry inhabitants, so a cat and pooch-free environment would suit them best.
