INTRODUCING OUR SPECIAL NEEDS BOY  – MAXWELL

Maxwell was diagnosed with diabetes late last year. Due to his owners work schedule of 7 day alternating day and night shifts she has been unable to provide him with a consistent, regular feeding and medication schedule. Coordinating with Maxwells vet, they have worked towards providing Maxwell with the best schedule. Maxwell needs a stable, consistent routine,  to ensure that his long term health and quality of life will not be affected.

Maxwell is looking for a family that can provide him with a loving home, accommodate for his health and give him the best life he can have. With the right feeding and medication routine Maxwell will be able to live a normal long and healthy life.

Maxwell is in search of an active human or family with children would be his ideal home, as he loves to play, and follow his people around. He loves to snooze in his bed with his special teddy and enjoys squeaky toys and chasing games.

Maxwell would benefit from someone who is around the home , either works from home or has a regular schedule to give Max his medication and meals.  This would also help with his separation anxiety. He would do amazing with a companion dog of any size but loves dogs more his own size. Maxwell is house trained and will need easy access to a yard for frequent toileting due to his condition.

Maxwell has never let his diagnosis dull his little sweet spirit, he is gentle, loving and loyal. He is house trained and knows a few commands including sit, stop, leave it, alright and/or clicking fingers (release word/action) sitting to wait for food. He loves to go for short walks and hikes and loves to roam the farm and will help you monitor the fields, trailing along wherever you go.
