Meet Daisy, a sweet and affectionate little lady who’s bursting with love to give. At just 18 months old, she’s still young, full of energy, and ready to find a forever family who’ll cherish her as much as she’ll adore them. Daisy’s favourite things in life are belly rubs, couch cuddles, snoozing in the sunshine, and the very serious business of de-fluffing her toys.

Daisy is also a very clever sausage 🌭—she thrives on mental stimulation and would love an owner who enjoys teaching her new tricks, playing games, and giving her brain as much of a workout as her little legs. You’ll know you’ve truly won her heart when she wriggles her way into your arms at night as the sweetest little spoon. 💕

Like any good dachshund, Daisy has a lot to say—she’s a big barker who uses her voice to share her thoughts, worries, and excitement with her people. Because of this, she would thrive in a home where someone is around often and willing to continue working with her on her barking and anxiety. Strangers aren’t really her thing, but once you’re part of her trusted circle, Daisy will shower you with endless love.

She’s great with older children and dogs she knows well. Daisy already has her toilet training and basic manners down pat, and she’s learning the art of crate training. Walks are very exciting for her, so she’s still working on not pulling the leash—but with patience and practice, she’ll get there!

Daisy is looking for a home with someone experienced in dachshunds (and their quirks!) who can help guide her with love, consistency, and understanding. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, affection, and the happiest little wiggles. 🐾
