Adopting Polly and Sizzle has been a wonderful experience for my husband and I. They have settled in very well. Polly wandered around the house like she was doing a slow, careful inspection, but you could tell she wanted to belong right from the start. Sizzle was a bit more excited exploring as much as he could. Those first few days/weeks have been full of little moments that made us smile exploring new rooms, sleeping in their new beds, meeting new people and exploring new places.
As they have become more comfortable, their personalities have really started to shine. Polly loves her walks and being close by. She is starting to settle into the walking particularly at the end of walks where the lead becomes not as tight. Sizzle has a cheeky, playful little character who has a knack for finding fun in everything providing lots of laughs (He thinks he is a Doberman). Now they’ve fully made the house their own, and it’s hard to imagine home without them. Watching them learn to trust, relax and greet us has been a pleasure for us. We our so happy we could give them a new home and the transition went so much smoother than we anticipated.
