Check out this gorgeous wire-haired dachshund Sandy, young and absolutely bursting with life, personality and curiosity.

Born in the country, Sandy is a true fun-loving country girl who loves being outdoors and following that very impressive dachshund nose. Bush turkeys and bunnies beware!  Sandy is always ready for a game of chase and an adventure!

In the home Sandy is affectionate, house trained and friendly with other dogs, although her enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of her. She still needs to learn a few polite meet-and-greet manners rather than barking straight into a new friend’s face! and lead walking is a totally new thing for Sandy.

Like many young dachshunds, Sandy has a mind of her own. She is intelligent, extremely alert and very much led by her nose, so she is looking for an adopter who will enjoy continuing her training, providing plenty of stimulation and keeping that clever little brain busy.

Sandy is looking for an adopter with energy and will need decent walks each day,  a home with a secure spacious garden, and perhaps a  friendly, playful doggy companion who can match her energy.

Cheeky, completely loveable, Smart and funny this young dachshund will keep you on your toes, wins hearts when out and about and cause endless amounts of laughter.

Sandy is located in Sydney, currently available for meet and greets with a view to adoption from after September 21st
