Meet Dobby 🐾❤️

Say hello to Dobby, an adorable Dachshund × Chihuahua, commonly known as a Chiweenie!

Dobby is still very much a puppy and is at that fun — and sometimes mischievous — stage of life. He is currently going through his chewing phase and is still learning his toilet training, so his new family will need to be prepared to continue guiding him with patience, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement.

Dobby can be timid, particularly while getting to know new people and his surroundings. He will need someone who understands that building trust takes time and is willing to let him gain confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he has plenty of love to give. One of his favourite things is snuggling up with his people and sleeping under the covers with them. He’ll happily burrow in and get cosy, making himself right at home.

He likes other dogs and would be happy living with a calm, quiet dog who could provide him with some companionship. Dobby would suit a quiet, peaceful home where someone is home often and has the time and patience to continue his training and help him become a confident young dog.

🚫 No children, please – Dobby is very much an anti-children kind of guy and does not enjoy being around kids, (they can make him nervous) so an adult-only home is essential.

Dobby is a sweet young boy who is still learning about the world. With the right person or family, a calm environment, and lots of patience and understanding, he has every opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion.
