🐾 Meet Charlie! ❤️

Charlie is a fun-loving, curious and playful little Dachshund who absolutely adores being around his people. He loves attention and would be happiest in a young, active family who will include him in everyday family life.

🎾 Charlie loves to play! He would love a family with children who enjoy throwing his toys, playing with him both inside and outside, and keeping him entertained. He also loves getting out for plenty of walks and adventures.

❤️ Charlie is a real “where you go, I go” kind of dog. He wants to be beside you, watching whatever you’re doing and being part of the action. He needs a caring family who has plenty of time for him and will enjoy having this little shadow following them around.

⛈️ Charlie can become unsettled during thunder and lightning storms, so he needs a family who understands that he’ll want to snuggle safely inside with his people when the weather gets frightening. 🥰

🔐 A secure yard is especially important for Charlie. He’s a bit of a Houdini and, if given the opportunity, will look for a way out of an unsecured yard. When stressed, Charlie has been known to dig underneath fencing, particularly through garden beds, so his new family will need to make sure he has a secure outdoor area and keep an eye on those clever escape routes!

Charlie is a wonderful little character who has so much love and fun to give. He isn’t looking for a fancy life — he simply wants a family who will include him, play with him, walk with him, cuddle him and make him feel like one of the family. 🐶❤️
