🐾 Meet Mr Bomber 

Meet Bomber, a handsome dachshund looking for a calm, understanding, and experienced forever home. Bomber is a lovely boy who thrives best in a peaceful environment where he can feel safe, supported, and able to relax with his new family.

Bomber would suit a home with older children or adults only, as young kids can be overwhelming for him. He will flourish with someone who has training experience and the time and patience to guide him, build his confidence, and help him continue developing good habits.

He’s currently living with two birds, and he enjoys socialising through the fence with the neighbour’s dogs. Bomber walks well on the lead most of the time, and with continued gentle training, he’ll only improve. Bomber lived with a cat when he was a puppy but has not been around one since.

One important note: Bomber does not enjoy vet visits. He becomes very stressed and agitated in that environment. Because of this, he will need an owner who understands his limits and can work gradually and compassionately with him, and who is comfortable managing vet visits when absolutely necessary. Bomber has had one incident where he was put on anti inflammatory medication for a sore back, but has had no issue’s since.

Bomber is seeking a calmer home where he can feel secure, unwind, and enjoy a slower pace of life with people who understand him. With the right family, Bomber will be a loyal, loving, and rewarding companion.
