🍒 Meet Cherry

Sweet little Cherry is a cuddle-loving girl who believes there is no better place to be than snuggled up with her people — preferably under a cosy blanket!

Cherry is a lovely, affectionate companion who adores her humans and absolutely loves children. She is toilet trained, has no separation anxiety, and is happy to spend time on her own, making her a wonderfully adaptable little lady.

When it comes to bedtime, Cherry is perfectly happy sleeping in her own bed, but given the choice, she’d much rather be tucked under the covers with her favourite people.

Cherry can happily live with another dachshund, or she is equally content being the only dog in the home. If she does have a canine companion, her new family will need to be patient and consistent, as Cherry can show a little resource guarding around other dogs. With gentle guidance, positive reinforcement and time, this is something her new family can help her work through.

Cherry did experience a slipped disc when she was six years old and underwent surgery. Thankfully, she made a full recovery and has had absolutely no further issues since.

At heart, Cherry is a sweet, snuggly girl who just wants to feel safe, loved and included for the rest of her years. If you’re looking for a little companion who will happily curl up beside you — or under your blanket! — Cherry could be your perfect match. 🍒❤️
