Coco’s is a gorgeous little black and tan mini smooth who is longing for his happy ever after where he will be much adored and will return the love tenfold.  This little fella has had a few changes in his life lately and is coping with them quite well, however we would love him to start the first week of 2024 in his forever home.

We dont know a great deal about Coco,  other than that his previous owner fell on hard times with the housing crisis and a friend offered to take him.  Sadly that hasnt worked out, due to the friend having cats and Coco and the cats havent been able to adjust to eachother.  So a house with out cats is certainly the best option for Coco.

Snuggles and cuddles are one of Cocos favourite past times, so be prepared to have a couch buddy and a little shadow following you around the house!  Coco also loves playing, and ultimately destroying, his toys, isnt that what just about every dachie does!

Coco loves going for his walks and shows great enthusiasm as soon as he picks up on the signs that a social trip is on the cards.  Although excitable at first, he will settle into a nice pace.  His current owner says that he has ignored other dogs at a distance, however does bark at other dogs when getting closer.  Coco will benefit greatly from daily walks with somebody where he can get out and about and take in the sights and sounds.  Coco will also bark when strangers come to the door, but will settle down after a nice slow introduction.   Coco hasnt had much interation with children, so we believe a home with older kids (teenagers) would be better suited.

Coco would benefit from a breed experienced owner who has the time and a calm regular routine which will help him adapt to his new environment.  With some patience and a lot of love this sweet little man will thrive and you will be rewarded with a little lap warmer and keeper of your company.  He would also love to have a backyard where he can potter around in and soak up a few sunrays.
