Meet Our Gentle Senior Boy Fudge– 12 Years Young 🐾

At 12 years old, Fudge has unfortunately found him self looking for a new home.  This sweet dachshund gentleman is simply looking for a soft place to land and a loving home to spend his golden years surrounded by the care and affection he truly deserves.

This soulful little companion enjoys the simple pleasures in life — a sunny spot to stretch out and sunbathe, a comfortable bed, and most importantly, a warm lap to snuggle into when he’s ready for a cuddle.

He can get along with some other dachshunds with the right, slow introductions, so a calm canine companion could work well if the match is right. He is also good with older children who understand how to be gentle and respectful with a senior dog.

Fudge does have some allergies, he eats a certain brand of and needs his weekly medicated bath to help manage his allergies.

This lovely boy doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, stability, and someone who sees the value in giving a senior dog the peaceful, loving retirement he deserves. In return, he will offer quiet companionship, devotion, and the kind of love that only an older dog can give.
