Gorgeous Gertie

Unfortunately Gertie’s family are busy with a toddler and relocating interstate.

Work commitments leave them with little time to dedicate to Gertrude.

She is an extremely sweet, loving girl.

Gertie had previously had an incident of mild ivdd, this was treated conservatively with crate rest and pain management.

On her wish list, owners with knowledge and experience with the breed.

A home without stairs. Comfy bed indoors with access a sunny spot outdoors to catch some sunshine.

Gertie would make a wonderful companion for someone wanting company.

She is a clever dachshund, driven by food, she loves to learn new tricks.

Daily enrichment with toys and working for her food stimulate her senses.

Gertie currently lives in a home with a small courtyard, she doesn’t require a large backyard.

She has socialised with children, visiting grandchildren, well versed in dogs would be fine.
