Introducing Henry

Henry is currently staying with a carer in a dachshund family.  Henry has been described  as a very affectionate boy who would thrive in a home where he is bathed in attention and affection.  Henry is very social and loves other dachshund company particularly a female.  Henry gets on well with other male dachshunds as long as he can be the boss.

Henry is more than happy to be sitting with his human all day, but don’t be fooled by the calm loving boy.  He will spring into action and chase a cat if sighted, so he is best suited to a home that would be cat free.  Henry also is in touch with natural instincts and enjoys to chase any other small critters that  he can find in the backyard.

In true dachshund style, Henry is not fond of thunderstorms, fireworks and loud noises.  Henry is currently on Prozac , however he is calm and his anxiety has dramatically reduced.  Henry would love a family with older children or a human that is home a lot of the time.  Henry currently sleeps in a crate with his dachshund family, but would happily share his humans bed for extra snuggles.

Henry is currently living with Spencer but are not a pair and not bonded so can be homed together or  separately.
