How can anyone resist Max’s gorgeous brown eyes and sweet little face!

Max is sensitive soul who may seem timid at first, but is utterly loyal once he warms up to you.  Given a bit of time, his truly affectionate nature unfolds, and he showers those he trusts with love and he will soon be your little shadow.

Max has previously lived with other dogs, however he seems to prefer smaller dogs and can feel overwhelmed if another dog invades his space.  This as such, a home with smaller, gentle pets or no other dogs may be the perfect fit for Max.

Our handsome boy absolutely loves the beach and will even venture into the water for a swim.  He also enjoys soaking up the sun in the backyard, making him a delightful companion on warm, sunny afternoons.  Max is young and absolutely loves his walks, so a brisk walk most days would be ideal for him.

Max sleeps inside in his crate and appreciates having his own safe space to retreat into. He can be timid with strangers, which is something that an experienced owner should be mindful of when initially meeting people.    We think that children over 12yo would be best suited for Max.

One thing to note about Max is that he prefers company to solitude. He isn’t particularly fond of being left alone and would rather prefer a home where someone is present more often than not. Whether it’s working from home, a retiree, or a family able to offer him plenty of attention.  Max enjoys his comforts and loves burying himself under a nice soft blanket and having a good snooze.

Max isnt too fussy with his food, however his favourite treat food is some chopped up roast chicken.  He loves all dog toys and a game of fetch is one of his all time favourites, and yes he will bring the ball back!  Max is also toilet trained, and will let out a few barks at the back door when he needs the door to be opened.
