Meet Max!  He is a beautiful natured boy who absolutely adores his humans and it is no fault of his own that he needs to find a new family to call his own.

Max will make a great addition to your family if you are looking for a friendly, affectionate and playful dachshund.

At only 5 kilos, he’s a little pocket rocket but like most dachshunds tends to pull on the lead when out on a walk in his eagerness to explore the world outside of his home.  Sometimes Max will bark at the new people he comes across but he soon settles down and then becomes the happy recipient of pats and attention.

Max has lived with children but would be better suited to older kids – 12 years and up.  Max has not lived with other dogs or cats so would be best as an only pet in the home.  That way he can enjoy being the centre of your world 🙂  Max sometimes cries when left alone so he would prefer to be in a home where he won’t be left on his own for long periods at a time.

Max enjoys being able to use the doggy door  to take himself outside to the garden to do his business and enjoy the sunshine.
