Aww Neville, such a little heart stealer!

Neville’s owners have made a heart breaking decision that the timing wasnt quite right in their lives for a puppy, and have reached out to us to find that extra special home for Neville.

Neville has been cared for exceptionally well…..

• He has started crate training and sleeps in his crate from 10pm to approx 5am. (will go back to sleep after a wee trip)
• Neville has had a great start with his toilet training, he will scratch at the door to go outside, or will go on puppy pads in the laundry.  (however being so young and in a new environment, accidents are likely so he must be taken outisde regularly)
• Like most puppies, anything thats fluffy or squeaks grabs Nevilles attention, and his favourite is snuggling up to his Teddy Bear.
• Neville has had limited exposure to other dogs being not fully vaccinated, however he does enjoy playing with other family members dogs.  Neville has been around a cat, he does try to chase the cat sometimes.
• Neville has been exposed to a toddler and is extrememely affectionate towards children however we think its best that he go to a home with older children who understand how fragile a dachshund puppy can be.
• Neville hasnt been fussy with his food, however he adores the Puppy Milky sticks from Pet Barn as a treat when learning basic commands.

Adopting a puppy is a huge commitment and ideally we would like somebody who is home a great deal, especially in the first few weeks, to help settle Neville in and teach him your routine.  His new owner should be committed to doing a puppy obedience class once he is fully vaccinated.

Sorry, no interstate adoption unless you can drive to meet Neville.
