Otis – A Young Dachshund Ready to Learn🩵

Otis is a young, lively Dachshund who is full of personality and ready for someone to show him the way.

Like many young dogs, Otis has missed out on some of the basic training and boundaries that help a dog become a well-mannered member of the family. He now needs an experienced owner who understands Dachshunds, has plenty of patience, and is willing to put in the time and effort to help him learn.

Otis will benefit from clear, consistent boundaries in the home, positive training and someone who can teach him what is expected of him. He also needs to learn how to walk nicely on a lead and develop some good household manners. With the right guidance, we believe he has plenty of potential to become a wonderful companion.

Otis currently sleeps in the laundry and has been around children. However, he would be best suited to a home with older children who won’t overly excite him and who understand how to interact appropriately with a young dog.

His ideal home will be with someone who has the time, patience and commitment to continue his training rather than expecting a perfectly behaved dog from day one.

Otis is young, bright and full of life. He just needs someone willing to invest in him, give him structure and help him understand the rules. With consistency, patience and plenty of love, Otis has every chance of becoming the lovely, well-mannered Dachshund he is capable of being. ❤️🐾
