One such family, were her new adopters,they had sadly lost a dachshund and Benji was pining terribly without his mate.
On paper we thought poppy might help heal Benji's broken heart.
Jane and Tim did a road trip to meet poppy, all went swimmingly and she was promptly on her way home to their farm.
Poppy has loved having people around, open spaces, fresh air and best of all Benji by her side.
Poppy's former owners are over the moon seeing her so relaxed and not at all stressed.
It's very rewarding seeing rescues work together with an outstanding outcome for Poppy.
