At ten years old it was no fault of Poppy's that she found herself needing to be adopted. She has taken the move in her stride though and has settled in remarkably well.
Poppy has two new furry siblings being another dachshund and labrador whom she likes to boss around. Poppy's new human sister has kindly jotted down the following which highlight Poppy's new life.
Poppy likes to help clean the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
She snuggles up to me in bed and gives me kisses.
She loves her walks and going to the beach.
She loves to chase other dogs' balls at the beach.
She sits and cuddles me under the blanket with me all the time.
She is an excellent nurse when I'm upset
Poppy likes to see the other dogs when they wake up and go outside with them.
The residents that she visits in the nursing home love her.
Poppy is thriving in her new life. Thank you to her new family for welcoming her into her new home. We wish you all the very best :)
