Sam has had a rough start to life, and now he is looking for someone special who is willing to take him under their wing, give him some guidance and, most importantly, show him the love and security he deserves. ❤️

💕 Sam’s Personality

Sam absolutely adores his people and loves nothing more than curling up on your lap and being close to you. He is a very affectionate boy who has plenty of love to give.

Like any young Dachshund, Sam is still learning about the world and needs a family who understands that puppies can be a little cheeky! He enjoys chewing things, playing with his toys and zooming around the backyard.

He also loves running and playing with his brother, rolling around in the grass and generally making the most of being a young dachie. 🥰

🐶 Other Animals

Sam can be very testosterone-driven around other animals, particularly dogs, cats and chickens. Because of this, he will need a home that can manage this behaviour responsibly and continue working with him as he matures.

🎓 Still Learning

Sam is a young boy who will definitely benefit from obedience training and consistent boundaries. He has not yet mastered his toilet training, so his new family will need to be patient and prepared to continue his training.

The good news? Sam is crate trained! 🏡

❤️ The Home Sam Needs

Sam would suit a younger, active person, couple or family who can give him plenty of exercise, play, training and attention.

He has plenty of puppy energy and is looking for someone who will enjoy getting out and about with him, while also helping him learn how to be the best dachshund he can be.

Sam isn’t looking for perfection — he’s looking for patience, consistency, love and someone willing to give him the fresh start he deserves. ❤️🐾
