Meet Texas – “Tex” for short 🤠

Tex is a characterful little dachshund with a big personality and a love for the outdoors. He’s happiest in a home where he can be both an adventure buddy and a relaxed companion.

Tex must be an only dog and is not suitable around chickens or other pets. He would do best in a household with adults or teenage children who understand dog boundaries and enjoy spending quality time with him.

Tex loves getting out and about, especially walks along the beach or by the river, and prefers quieter walking spots away from other dogs. He would suit someone who enjoys regular walks and outdoor time without the hustle of busy dog parks.

He is used to spending most of his time outside, but also enjoys coming indoors to relax and be part of the household. Tex would thrive with someone who can give him time, structure, and consistency, and ideally someone willing to continue training and guidance around interacting with other dogs, at Tex’s pace.

Tex is best suited to a calm, dog-savvy home where he can be the centre of attention and live a balanced life of outdoor exploration and indoor comfort.
