Tye, bless his little heart, is a sweet boy whose life has been turned upside down in the last month or two.  Sadly, he has had two homes where both times the elderly owners have had to go into care, and he is stuggling to adapt to the recent changes with having had so much uncertainly in his life.  He is currently being looked after by friends of the family, and he is slowly starting to make some progress.

He is eager to try and please, and we would love to find him a calm, quiet home with an experienced owner who has the patience to guide him with his doggy manners.  Sadly, we dont know too much about Tye, we suspect he lead quite an isolated life.

• Tye is currently living with an older female dog who he gets along quite nicely with.   We think that a home with either a female dog or no other dogs may be best suited to Tye.
• Tye loves all sorts of food, he isnt fussy.  He is carrying bit of extra weight and will try and coax you into giving him a few extra treats, so an owner mindful of this and should also be committed to helping him lose a little bit of weight.
• Tye absolutely LOVES going for his walks, but he will need a patient person who can help teach him some lead manners.  Walks in quiet areas as opposed to dog parks, cafes, busy streets would suit Tye.
• Tye loves playing with his toys, and will try to engage you with them.  He has a long snake toy that seems to be his favourite.
• We suspect that Tye may find young children a bit overwhelming, although he is currently sleeping in a teenagers room and is loving snuggling up under the blankets.
• Tye has found it confusing going from one house to another and his toileting habits have dropped off, however he has made some gradual progress.  He mostly tends to go on pee mats, but sometimes has an accident inside.  He will need consistant reward based training to be continued so that he can adjust to a new routine in his new home.
• Tye is very affectionate with those that he knows, but he does take a little while to warm up to people he doesnt know.
