Routine Lover: Wally finds comfort in structure, from morning wake-ups to bedtime rituals. He thrives with consistency and predictability.
Sock Enthusiast:Hide your socks! Wally loves to claim them as his ultimate treasure, adding a dash of humour to your daily life.
Big Kid-Friendly:  Wally enjoys the company of older children (10+), who can engage with his playful and spirited nature.

What Does Wally Need?
A Loving, Patient Home: Wally is reactive to other animals but has made great strides on walks when passing dogs. With continued training and support, he has the potential to improve even further.
Stimulation and Fun:This energetic boy needs plenty of playtime and activities to keep his mind and body busy.
Companionship: Wally struggles when left alone for long periods and would thrive with someone who can spend a lot of time with him or who might introduce him to the right furry friend with proper guidance.
Durable Toys and Chew-Proof Beds: Wally’s enthusiasm for play extends to his toys and beds, so tough and sturdy items are a must!

Why Wally?
Wally’s current behaviour stems from boredom and loneliness, (dachshunds are hunting dogs and need to be busy)  but with a family who understands where he’s come from and what he needs, Wally will shine. His love for routine, cuddles, and games makes him a rewarding companion, and his potential to blossom in the right environment is limitless.
