Three years ago, we opened our hearts and home to a delightful little dachshund named Freckles, thanks to the wonderful team at Dachshund Rescue Australia (DRA). From the moment she joined our family, Freckles blossomed into a well-adjusted, independent, and incredibly loving companion.
Recently, we felt that Freckles could benefit from a furry friend, so naturally, DRA was our first choice. When we met Yogi, her adorable little face stole our hearts instantly. She seemed like the perfect fit for our family, and we couldn’t wait to bring her home.
Since Yogi joined us, Freckles has been a new dog! Their bond is heartwarming to witness; Freckles has a noticeable pep in her step. Yogi, a sweet little dachshund, is thriving with all the love she’s receiving. Whether it’s playing at the park, enjoying beach outings, or going on walks together, these sisters are inseparable. At night, Yogi cuddles up with our human daughter, who is as obsessed with her as Freckles is!
We are so grateful to DRA for their incredible work and for bringing Yogi into our lives. Our family feels complete, and we couldn't be happier!

Good morning Raelene. Fred and I willow have settled. No problems I love them to bits I am so happy I have the two of them thank you so much. I love them very much. We go for a walk every morning for 1 hour. Fred can't wait if we don't go he starts talking in his way. Then he starts this little howls we can't miss a walk but I love him
