Master Ollie, found himself find new home when his owner needed to move overseas. It was quite an urgent situation, so we enlisted the help from one of our valued trusted foster carers. Little did we know that this one seemed to capture the heart strings, and he has now been adopted. He was set in his ways however even the Dachshund whisperer Ms Julie, has turned some naughty behaviors into new good boy traits. This was a beautiful story, and we are all so grateful for Julie stepping up once again for us at Dachshund Rescue Australia,

Luna (7 months) & Callie (6 months) ACT
Sweet sisters came in for rehoming as there owners circumstances changed. Callie and Luna had been well cared for, this was a very reluctant rehoming. We are so pleased people adopt these little treasures. They have been welcomed by a young couple who had been planning and preparing for dog ownership. The girls were very close, we are pleased they can stay together and thrive in their new home. Lots of walks and car trips keep the girls very happy.
Eric 14 months (central coast) nsw
This gorgeous boy had guardian angels looking over him. We were contacted by a shelter to assist as he wasn't suitable to be in a pound environment. A call to arms, resulted in Bianca foster carer making a mercy dash to the central coast. Well to say Eric hasn't looked back is an understatement. He has done remarkably well from the first encounter with his big brother Monty. Eric is a sensitive soul, he just adores his foster carer, truly knowing this is his forever home. The boys snuggle and tussle keeping Bianca entertained. Eric has been given a clean bill of health, vet visits for his vaccinations. DRA is extremely grateful for the shelter staff contacting us and his foster carer/adopter for opening her arms to Eric. The boys are very lucky there mum takes them on some great outings. Eric's life has been transformed we are elated!
